The National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) held its fourth national conference at the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA), Gwagwalada.
The occasion saw the attendance of executives of the local chapters from different higher institutions from the six geopolitical zones.
Day one of the events was marked by delivering a public lecture by a special guest.
Also, paper presentations by the respective representatives from the geopolitical zones.
Football matches were organized for the executives who took the event to another level as it was marked by fun and also created an avenue for them to exercise.
The city of Abuja and that of the university were explored by sightseeing, and the evening dinner was arranged. This was full of interaction and also for the representatives to get to know each other, to foster unity among them not minding their region or distance. That's day three of the conference.
The last ended with the election of new executives of the National Body and also the inauguration of the newly elected.
Bala Kabiru Awuya, the Social Director of NAPSS, University of Maiduguri Chapter, acknowledged that the event not only marked the election of new members but also enhanced unity among them during the dinner and also the football match. All of them had fun. He urged that let the unity as students continue even so, Nigerians as a whole. This is the only avenue that will make us achieve our goals as individuals and as a country in general.
Kabiru said he would miss his new friends, and he hope they get to meet again.
