The world has somehow been halted due the outbreak of this corona virus.
However, we all know that, since the outbreak of this corona virus, school activities most especially has been shutdown to avoid rapid spreading of the virus in many countries especially Nigeria to be precise,(opinion).
But the issue is that most parents and guardians are requesting for that federal government of Nigeria to lift the ban on schools in order to avoid their kids from missing some academic sessions, and most especially they want their children in graduating classes to take their final examinations like, "WAEC"(opinion).
In my own opinion, I propose that "WAEC"examination should not be taken this year in Nigeria. My reason is that Nigeria's total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases are increasing daily even when schools have been reopened, now what do you think will happen if students are allowed to go back to school?,(opinion).
Yes, the federal government of Nigeria has given corona virus guidelines and protocols that will help reduce this pandemic spread, but I think it will not work because if the students maintain these protocols at school, what about in their homes and dormitories,(opinion). It is better for Nigerian students to lose one full academic year than to lose innocent students lives,(opinion).
This is a very crucial matter, do well to share your opinion in the comment section and also share this article with your family and friends to see their own opinion.
