A Couple in Ogun State has donated to their Alma mata an Ultramodern Hostel Building which will accommodates Boys and Girls hostel at Ebenezer Grammar School Iberekodo in Abeokuta north local government area of the state.
The building was donated to the school by Mr and Mrs Abayomi and Shakirat Fujah to commemorate the 65th founders day anniversary of the school.
In his address the Chairman Academic Staff Union of secondary schools ASUSS in Ogun State ,Comrade Akeem Lasisi who also doubles as an old Student of the school appreciated the donor in his drive to develop the school and as well charged all stakeholders in the school to carefully manage the Facilities in order to spur the old students' to do more.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Primary and Secondary Education, Mrs Ronke Soyombo also appreciated the donor for the spirit at which they have donated the Facilities saying that what they have done will help a lot in Transforming the lives of the students within the environment.
The chairman Ogun State Teaching Service Commission , Evangelist OlamilLekan Ifede was also in attendance as well as other dignitaries including parents ,Old Students and we'll wishers.
The Commissioner for Education Science and technology Professor Abayomi Arigbabu thereafter Commission the ultra modern hostel Facilities which has both Boys and and Girls hostel accommodation.
By this standard , Ebenezer Grammar School, Iberekodo now joins the league of model schools in the state .
