This articles takes a look at the profile of the youngest ever Professor in Nigeria. He is Professor Ahmad Ibrahim Doko.
Professor Ahmad Ibrahim Doko hails from Doko Town in Niger State in Nigeria. He was born in 1974 at Doko Town, Niger State.
He began his academic journey at North Primary School in Doko from 1979-1985. He attended Government Secondary School Doko. He later proceeded to Ahmadu Bello Demonstration Secondary School from 1985-1991.
Professor Ahmad Ibrahim Doko later went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1998 for his B.sc in Quantity Survey.
He obtained his M.sc in Construction Engineering and Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia in 2003.
In 2007 he obtained his Ph.D from Loughborough University, United Kingdom.
He started his lecturing career as an assistant lecturer in 2000. He has served as Head of Department Quantity Survey Ahmadu Bello University between 2008-2012.
He became a Professor of Quantity Survey at Ahmadu Bello University at the age of 39.
