5 Remarkable Developments Imo State University Will Benefit As President Buhari Visits Imo State

Has it not been said that great doors swing on little hinges? This is fast becoming the reality of Imo State University as the longed anticipated hope of every Imolite cum Imostar has found expression in the faultless and people oriented leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma. Every little effort targeted at re-engineering and transforming the educational system of Imo State through technological innovation has collided with the requisite success capable of changing status quo on every front. Despite the myriad of oddities that rocked the state, one can say without fear of grammatical blunder or unguided feelings that the purpose driven leadership of the Governor and the visionary activities of the academic veteran, Prof Peter Akah have injected academic excellence into the system where a level of conscious education is mounted.

On the flipside of the gist, our team conducted  a research on the thoughts of some selected Imo State University students over the proposed President Muhammadu Buhari's visit to the East of the Heartland and they all expressed joy in high spirits. Roughly all the students our team came by had one remarkable or commendable thing to say about the president's proposed visit made possible by our amiable Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.

Without further ado, I crave your indulgence to have a look at the remarkable developments Imo State University will benefit as President Buhari visits Imo State.

1. Objectively and perhaps, the commonest reason for which the president's visit will benefit this great citadel of learning is because, it is a testament that peace and tranquility has returned to the state as against the backdrop of what the situation was in the months that were. Hence, students can carry out academic activities without intimidation.

2. Imo State University may have an influx of students in the forthcoming external examinations as parents would freely consent to the choice of the University for their wards.

3. His visit would encourage both foreign and local investors to look the way of the state which would ultimately have a measure of relevance as it affects positively the way in which academic activities take place in the University.

4. Again, the president's visit would be a red hot point for academic research works which is yet a sign of things worthy of commendation.

5. Finally on this basis, change is an evidence of life and further gives credence to the irrefutable law of progress. Howbeit, the president's all important visit to the state is not just reservedly stationed on other economic goals but equally an attempt at offering the long awaited change on the altar of hope for our educational system.

Thanks.
