Reno Omokri, a former special assistant to the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has made a tweet on his official Twitter handle that a lot of people have reacted to. The statement that Reno Omokri released reads, "There is nothing wrong with a school sending a child home for bringing Peter Obi campaign materials to school." It is not tribalism by Yorubas or APC, as Obidients are painting it. Her parents are irresponsible. Schools worldwide are meant to be neutral in politics.

Reno Omokri's reactions were particularly directed at a junior secondary school student who was allegedly sent home in Epe, Lagos, because her bag had a Peter Obi sticker.
Reno Omokri's party lost the presidential election to the All Progressives Congress's candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and he recently protested against INEC's decision to announce Tinubu the winner of the poll.
