University of Jos Hires Hunters To Protect Campus, Hostels

The management of the University of Jos, Plateau State has hired local hunters to protect students and staffs on campus and at their hostels because of the security problems in the country.

This was disclosed by the outgoing Vice Chancellor of the university, Sebastian Maikako on Tuesday. He said that the security challenges facing the country is quite tenuous, and that they've received a security report that they were the soft target which made them suspend and close hostels for two weeks. He said that they've decided to hire local hunters to protect the hostels especially at night.

Buhari Will Not Resign'-Presidency

The special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, Babafemi Ojudu has received that president Muhammadu Buhari will complete his tenure.

Ojudu made this known in Abuja on Tuesday, during the presentation of a book written by Abdullahi Haruna in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari. Ojudu said that the campaign for President Muhammadu Buhari's resignation is not new to the President because similar agitation was done during his time as a military head of state.
