Zamfara state has consistently ranked poor in terms of education.
Infact in 2018, zamfara state had less that 30 students who passed NECO. A state with a massive population of about 3.5 million.
Consistently they've remained at the buttom end of the educational ranking with the state government failing to secure a significant improvement in recent years.
In 2019, zamfara still had the lowest pass rate across the 36 state of the federation. Much below borno state with insurgency.
How do one explain this?? Education is key to progress and zamfara state has refused to acknowledge this fact.
Kaduna and Niger state whom are border state to zamfara has recorded significant improvement with both States ranking above Osun state in the 2019 waec result.
Quite and important feat.
Zamfara has failed to improve their stats as a state talk more of competing with other states.
The F.G in its own needs to declare a state of emergency on the Zamfara state educational sector.
The system there needs overhaul.
God bless Nigeria.
