According to reports, the newly sworn in Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt Rivers State (UNIPORT), Professor Andrew Efemini, reportedly died four days after his swearing in as the Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic of the Rivers State Federal University.
Reports stated that the late Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Port Harcourt, Professor Andrew Efemini, was sworn in earlier this week being Monday 26th July 2021 at the University Campus. But unfortunately passed on yesterday being Saturday 31st July 2021 at around 10:00am in the morning.
According to a source who is close to the family, during an interview with journalists stated that the late Uniport Deputy Vice Chancellor, who just passed on was battling with a terminal disease for a while now, which could possibly be one of the causes of his untimely death.
Although the family of the deceased is yet to issue a statement on the possible causes of his death.
