The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), Maiduguri, Borno State, inducted graduands from paramedical courses in its 10th combined ceremony.
The event was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor in person of Professor Aliyu Shugaba.
Nasiru Salisu Galda broke records in the department of Radiography by being the first person to graduate with first class in the 18 years of the existence of the department.
The VC presented him an award of excellence in the department of medical radiography in the 2019/2020 academic session.
The award was made available by the Register, Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
He and other first class graduates were offered automatic employments by Professor Shugaba.
He is grateful to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Salisu Abubakar Galda, for their supports and encouragements they have shown to him.
His dad was full of tears of joy as he was beside his son to receive the award with him.
That's the prayer and wish of every parents for their children to make them proud not to bring shame.
