UNIBEN Shuts Down School Amid Students Protest Over ₦20,000 Late Registration.

Sometimes, I wonder if the leaders we voted for right from the onset are our enemies in disguise without the citizens knowing it.

Before elections, they made all sort of promises to make the country habitable but in the long run, they started acting strange and differently and making things difficult for the poor masses.

Recently, students of the University of Benin were protesting the N20,000 late registration fee imposed by the school authority.

(₦20,000 for late registration, while majority that are in school can hardly feed. What's the essence of paying ₦20,000 for late registration when a student can't pay his/her school fee)?

The economy situation is such that shouldn't warrant any hike in tuition fee across the nation. I know some may be asking, how dose this concern our leaders and the government at large? But in the other way round, the leaders can influence all these and called the school management to order, since most of these money are been paid into the government's account, (federal or State).

For this reason, I am calling on the various authority that are responsible to look into this issue with immediate effect to enable the students resume for their normal classes and lectures.

Let's hear you out, do you think the students are supposed to be treated this way and deserve all this?
