His Excellency, The Former Govenor Of Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Wamakko has returned to Abuja after Spending two weeks in Pakistan and Dubai.
While in Pakistan, he took time to visit the University of Lahore in Punjab Province.
Senator Wamakko requested for partnership between the University of Lahore and his newly established North West University, Sokoto.
In his remark, Awais Raoof, the Chairman of the University, thanked Senator Wamakko for the visit and the school. He expressed the university's readiness to deepen its partnership with North West University, Sokoto in order for it achieve its set goals.
Also during the visit Senator Aliyu Wamakko and his delegation took a tour of SEASON FOODS, a commercial agriculture farm estate in Shadman, Lahore.
They were conducted round the farm by the Managing director, Imran Ijaz. The tour was aimed at fostering a partnership between Pakistan and agricultural farms in Sokoto, Nigeria in areas of technology transfer in commercial agriculture.
