Dauda Bags 11 Distinctions To Be The Best Graduating Student Of Faculty Of Veterinary Medicine

In the recent attestation of the Faculty of Verterinary Medicine of the University of Maiduguri, Dauda Loksha emerges as the best graduating student of the faculty.

Dauda shared how he started with cumulative grade point average of 3.78 in his 100 level and rose to 4.60 in his final year.

He acknowledged that determination and hard work and, most importantly, the grace of God made it possible for him to have accomplished all these.

Dauda grabbed 11 different awards and also 11 distinctions out of 12 courses at the occasion.

Some of the awards include

1. The deans Award of the best graduating student of the faculty of veterinary medicine (FVM) 2019/2020 academic session

2. NVMA Award of the best graduating student of FVM

3. Professor Lekan's Anyawale's Prize for the best graduating student of veterinary public health and preventive medicine

4. Dr. Hamisu Yelwas's Prize for the best graduating student in clinics

5. Late Prof. Usman Aliyu Mani memorial prize for the best overall graduating student.

Dr. Dauda expressed his utmost gratitude to God almighty and also to his dear family, teachers and friends who poured their unrelenting supports towards him in many ways.

Mshelia dedicated the awards to his family and most especially his mum, Amina Loksha and others who have the dream of achieving excellence.

He advised the younger students to be excellent even in the presence or absence of reward.
