No longer at ease with the strife that comes with unpaid salaries, workers and primary school teachers under Adavi Local Government Area on Thursday blocked the FCE – Okene highway, brandishing green leaves and placards in protest.
Recall the report on the council Boss, Joseph Salami’s continuous back and forth with the worker over unpaid salaries.
Our correspondent who was on ground to cover what was earlier scheduled to be a meeting between the executives of the various workers’ union under the LGA, reports that the resolution turned out to be a protest, and the workers and public students turned out immediately to block the road at the Secretariat junction.
The workers were chanting “January salary, December, salary!!!”
