Examination question papers and materials of some examination bodies such as the West African Examination Council (WAEC), the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and the National Examination Council (NECO), are often collected by the examination supervisors from the Bank. This was the reason a female supervisor for NECO examination in Government Secondary School, Ungwan Sarki in Kaduna North Local Government Area, Kaduna State, was attacked by armed hoodlums.
It was later learnt that the supervisor had been trailed by the bandits from the bank were she collected the examination materials to the school. During the attack, she tried to explain to the gunmen that what they were trying to rob was only examination materials, they did not hid to her as they made away with the materials believing it to be money. After the incidence on Friday, parents on getting the information went to take their children from the school for fear of them being kidnapped. It is not up to a month since over a hundred students were kidnapped in Bethel Baptist High School in the state.
