Dr. David Oyedepo who is the Chancellor of Covenant University and also the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, has admonished the youths against the excessive use and disadvantages of social media.
Dr. David Oyedepo gave this warning on Friday during the 15th Convocation Ceremony and Conferment of Honourary Doctorate Degrees and the presentation of prizes at the school.
The chancellor also noted that the negative impact and effect of social media on youths can not be overemphasised, because it makes them to lose focus and also rob them of their glorious destinies.
The chancellor also made emphasis of the fact that a life without a vision is just an adventure in frustration and that also a life without a bearing is a burden.
According to the chancellor, only those who know and are conversant with where they are going will ever get anywhere and everywhere.
Dr. David Oyedepo also encouraged youths to get out of the nest by engaging and involving in strategic plans because everyone will be absolutely responsible for the outcome of his or her life.
Punchng also made it known that the vice chancellor of the school (Covenant University) whose name was revealed as Prof. Abiodun Adebayo also admonished the graduands.
