After the announcement that was made by the government that it is compulsory for all 2021 JAMB candidates to enroll for their National Identification Number (NIN) as it will be used during the registration process of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
It is to be known to all candidates that the National Identification Number is no longer compulsory for 2021 JAMB candidates. This means that candidates can be register for th examination without their NIN's. Even as though the NIN is not compulsory, it is still necessary for candidates to enroll for it because it serve as a means of identification to all candidates and students in Nigeria.
Both Primary, Secondary and Tertiary students are hereby advised to enroll for their National Identification Number (NIN) due to its importance presently and later in the future. It is very necessary for students to enroll for the National Identification Number because it helps them identify themselves when they are found in any public gathering or occasions that requires identification.
Students who finds it difficult to enroll for the National Identification Number can ask for help from their parents or officials during enrollment. Parents are also advised to take note of fact that it is necessary for their children to enroll for the National Identification Number as it usefulness may be demanded for when filling official documents.
It is therefore advisable that all primary, secondary and tertiary students get their National Identification Number (NIN) as it need may arise unexpectedly in a very important occasion.
