Commissioner For Education Charges Students To Be Diligent, Promising A Better Teaching Experience

The Ogun State Government has charged the students' to continue to be diligent and embrace excellence as schools resumes for the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

Leading some of the team from the ministry of Education Science and Technology into Schools in Egba, Ijebu-Ode, and Remo axis of the state, Commissioner for Education Science and Technology Professor Abayomi Arigbabu revealed that the monitoring team cut across every part of the State to monitor the level of preparedness Among the schools management, Teachers and Students', for the new academic calendar.

The Commissioner encouraged learners to put in their best, be focused, follow the instructions of the school authorities saying the Government and their Teachers are fully ready to give them the best teaching experience.

Arigbabu said he was impressed with the preparedness and the cleaning of schools, saying that Government will continue to create an enable environment for students' to learn, begging learners to observe the Covid-19 protocols to protect themselves and others.

Arigbabu also says that Government is working to digitalize Schools dossier and results,such that it would be easier for learners to check their results.

In their remarks, Principal Abeokuta Grammar school senior, Mr Oludare Sorinola and Lisabi Grammar school Jnr, Mrs Olufunmilayo Joseph said the Teachers were ready to put in the best of their responsibilities saying that they have set target to adequately prepare the Students' for future endeavors.

Some of the Schools visited includes: Abeokuta Grammar School, Lisabi Grammar School Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode Grammar School, Anglican Girls Grammar School, Adeola Odutola College, Ijebu Muslim College in Ijebu-Ode and Remo Secondary School, Sagamu.
