Governor Nyesom Wike has now flagged off the construction of the Nigerian Law School in Port Harcourt Rivers State, following the approval of the request to establish the institution weeks ago.
Today, the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami SAN who was represented by the Chairman Council of Legal Education, Chief Nnaemeka, performed the ceremony of the laying of foundation for the law school campus in Rumueme, Port Harcourt.
At the event, his excellency, the governor of Rivers State, expressed his gratitude to the Attorney General of the Federation for focusing on the growth of legal education in Nigeria as he approved his request to establish a Nigerian Law School in Rivers State swiftly.


Prof lsa Hayatu Chiroma, the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, President Nigerian Bar Association, Olumide Akpata Esq, and other Senior Advocates that have been supportive of the Rivers State government to establish the Law School Campus, were thanked by governor Nyesom Wike.
