The Special Assistant on Students Matters continued the campus tour visit at the Gateway Polytechnic Saapade with the primary focus to address fundamental issues affecting the students constituency in their different institutions.
The Special Assistant in his message to the students of GAPOSA assured them of the commitment of the Governor Dapo Abiodun led administration to the growth of the Educational sector, and assured them of the continued support of the State government to further improve the level of infrastructure in all Ogun tertiary institutions.
The GAPOSA Students Union President, on behalf of the entire students appreciated the visit of the Special Assistant, "As this is the first time for any body in the capacity of Special Assistant to students deem it fit to visit their institution and hear directly from it constituents".
Comrade Adeyemi Azeez Amoo had a meeting with the Management of the institution to address issues confronting the students on that campus.
The Rector (Dr I.K Oyeyinkaafter) took the Special Assistant round the campus to see a number of new buildings and projects springing up on that campus.
The Special Assistant appreciated the Dr I.K Oyeyinka led administration for a job well done in boosting the level of infrastructure on it campus and implore him to not to relent as he can be rest assured of the support of the Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun government.
Representatives of the Police led by the DPO and representatives of the Civil Defence Corps and the Department of State Service also in their address admonished students to be of good conduct and shun all of forms of social be vices, representatives of the host community were also on ground in a bid to foster an harmonious relationship between the students constituency.
The most students friendly Governor in Nigeria, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun is fully committed to the welfarism of our dear students and the Education sector at large.
