Nigerian Professor: Charles Egbu, appointed as the Vice-counselor of Leeds Trinity University

Professor Charles Egbu, a Nigerian professor, was appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Leads Trinity University. Professor Charles Egbu, is expected to assumed his role on November 1, 2020. The Anambra State born doctor expressed his happiness, saying he is honored to be joining the Leeds Trinity; a University whose values and ethos around widening participation, offering a personalized approach and encouraging all students to achieve their best, align with his own.

Professor Charles Egbu, has 25 years experience in higher education system. and his research interest focus on project management, sustainable development and construction management.The Chief Designate of the Board of governors in Leeds Trinity University, Mrs. Jamie Hanley, she said that the Nigerian professor Charles Egbu has a lot of experience and knowledge of the higher education system. His extensive knowledge and experience will be use to the University.

Professor Charles Egbu, who is from Abatefe, Idemili North LGA Anambra State, has become the first Black Vice-Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University in United kingdom, he will be taking over from the present Vice-Counselor, who will be stepping down, after seven years of service as the Vice-counselor at the end of October, before professor Charles Egbu will take over, from her.

Professor Charles Egbu, has contributed in more than 350 publications in many international journals and conferences, he has written 12 books, with strong links to industries,large multi- disciplinary in research projects and good policy making. That is why his energy and vision stood out throughout the competitive of the Vice-Counselor position.
