Strike: Federal Government Asks ASUU To Exercise Patience

The Nigerian federal government has asked the Academic Staff Union of Universities to implore patience as they are still meditating on the agreement which was signed. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba who is the minister of state for education was responsible for saying this. This was in response to the statement which ASUU made. The Academy Staff Union of Universities had earlier claimed that the federal government was daring them. 

Do recall that ASUU also said that people should hold the government accountable if they as lecturers decide to embark on a national strike. The educational union claimed that the government did not keep to the agreement which they had in the year 2020 on December. ASUU although has asked the federal government to fall in line with the agreement which they signed. Stay tuned for more updates.
