NYSC Gives Update On Reopening On Orientation Camps

NYSC, the National Youth Service Corps has asserted that there is no authorized period for the reopening of centers.

This was included in an announcement confirmed by Adenike Adeyemi, the Director of Press and Public Relations of NYSC, on Saturday in Abuja.

Adeyemi clarified the news that the orientation program will begin again on the 27th of October, 2020, as fake news.

“It is essential to clarify that the Scheme has guaranteed all the COVID-19 protection procedures incidental to cautious organizing of Orientation courses are prepared in all the 37 Orientation Centers.

“Note furthermore that some precautionary security regulations already approved by the Scheme had won it the recognition of the PTF,” the announcement read.

The NYSC communicated the possibility that the Federal Government will shortly give permission for the complete resumption of camping.

“As the NYSC openly appreciates the tolerance so far demonstrated by the PCMs who have stayed for more than 6 months, waiting to be called-up for involvement in the program.

It likewise sympathizes with them for the accidental disturbance of their schemes, arising from COVID-19 epidemic”.
