During my undergraduate studies in one of the northern universities, there is this particular statement that my lecture usually altered "after matriculation then there will be induction and convocation and that defines an excellent student".
Coming into the university demands many set goals to know the kind of a class or degree you wish to go out with and then work towards it.
On Friday, June 11, 2021, the university present awards of First Degrees and Diplomas and a fixed sum of money as a reward for being outstanding throughout their days of studies in the university.
Different bodies presented prizes to the best students with the highest GPA and the names are as follows.
The sum of N1500 was given to the best final year student of the faculty of Business Administration, with an equal GPA of 4.63 and the prize of N1500 to be shared between the winners.
This award aims to motivate other students within the university to put more effort into their respective students and be outstanding.
Well, what worth doing is worth doing well, thank you so much for reading this article but what are your thoughts on this prize given to the students, does a first-class graduate worth such a prize considering the kind of university UNN is.
