The ministry of state for education chuwku Emeka Nwajuoba who gave the directives in a statement in Abuja's says the ministry Haven consulted wildly with the federal ministry of health Nigeria center for disease control (NCDC) and the education in emergency working group. Has developed and circulated guild lines for reopening of schools.
He emphasize that school owners are to prepare and comply with the guild lines,sayings schools were to undertake self assessment and send fit back to state ministry of education not later that July 29th
He also added that the consultations with relevant state holders will be held to review the situation and decided on a specific data for reopening or otherwise.
Nwajuoba said having taking a painful but necessary decision not to reopen schools with out preparation to ensure the safety of students and teachers. The ministry had continued consultations with state holders and mechanism to access and monitor compliance would be put in place.
Nwajuba added his ministry had met with (WAEC) and have agreed to further consult with four other countries on a new Examination date.
