The president elect of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress party, has assured Nigerian university students that the lectures won't go on strike as long as he holds the presidential position.
The president elect of Nigeria made this remark while addressing the public few hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him the winner of the presidential election which took place last Saturday.
Tinubu continued by saying that he way pay undivided attention to the call of the people. He then promised to be creative and work hard for the betterment of the nation.
In his words, "We are going to embark on this journey United, we are going to be creative. No one is too small to be creative. We shall work together.
He continued by saying, "I will pay attention, undivided attention to the calls of Nigerians. There will be credit, education loan will be available. 4 years course will be 4 years course. No more strike. Your universities will have the autonomy to upgrade your syllabuses".
