Punch took to their verified Facebook page to share the story of an Imo state university former head of department who is alleged to have fake certificates, one from a university in the United States and another one he got from FUTO.
He is a lecturer and immediate past Head of Department, Electrical Electronics Engineering, Imo State University, Owerri, his legal name is Dr. Michael Anumaka, he is in the midst of the storm over alleged certificate forgery.
He who was employed in the university in 2012, allegedly claimed to have gotten his first degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from Clayton University, Missouri, the United States of America in 2003.
The new vice-chancellor prof. Akah is cleansing the university both students and staff, of bad and unqualified students and staff, that is why this was uncovered.

The Imo State University in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria was established in 1981 through law No. 4 passed by the Imo State House of Assembly.
The university admitted the first intake of 392 pioneer students on 23 October 1981.
The university is located in Owerri, Owerri is the capital of Imo State in Nigeria, set in the heart of Igboland. It is also the state's largest city, followed by Orlu, Okigwe, and Ohaji/Egbema.
