The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo in a Twitter post yesterday wished the final year senior High School students all the best as they commences the WASSCE exam today amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the photo he tweeted, he urged everyone associated with the conduct of this year's WASSCE to abide by the enhanced hygiene, mask wearing and social distancing protocols they have become accustomed to. Below is the tweet and some reactions that follows;
The timetable which was submitted to the Ministry of Education, indicates that the examination will begin today with project work for Visual Arts candidates. The theory papers, however will start from August 3, 2020, till 5 September, 2020, will the examination will be brought to and end with Accounting and Technical Drawing.
This is coming as the Nigerian government is conducting a Twitter poll on whether schools should resume in September, 2020 or not.
