The federal government of Nigeria had on Monday had on Monday revealed its plans towards the reopening of schools.
The federal government on Monday, disclosed that it is still in talk and deliberation with the necessary stakeholders on the reopening of schools and the implementation on safety measures and guidelines that will enable the reopening of schools across the country.
This was revealed by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc Sonny Echono, who gave the update alongside the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu with the Governing Councils of 13 Federal Universities.
Echono revealed that the Federal Ministry of Education had in the last few days met with the Commissioners for Education across the 36 states of the country, Vice Chancellors, Nigeria Council For Disease Control (NCDC) and also the Nigerian Education in Emergences Working Group, alongside the stakeholders.
