OMA's Foundation, a charity organisation with the sole aim of helping the less privileged, weekend, feted the poor and physically challenged persons in Enugu metropolis.
The Foundation, according to the founder, Chioma Odo, also empowers the youths in order to reduce poverty rate in the country and equally enlighten them to channel their energy on productive ventures.
Odo, a graduate of Music at the Federal College of Education, Eha-Amufu, Enugu State who spoke shortly after the outreach programme said the Foundation was born out of the desire to put smiles on the faces of the downtrodden.
She also said "Even with the inspiration of others, it's understandable that sometimes, we think the world's problems are so big that we can do little to help. On our own, we cannot end wars or wipe out injustice, but the cumulative impact of thousands of small acts of goodness can be bigger than we imagine."
According to her "The desire to help the less privileged is inborn in me. I have been doing it for many years, but I decided to put in foundation form so I can get the partnership or sponsorship of people with similar zeal to make our world a better place for all. I fed them today, and it is my desire to do something greater for them in future."
