The federal government has ordered the resumption of the academic activities in all the Unity Schools in Nigeria.

Well after closing schools across the nation for Seven months in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus the government has announced October 12 for full reopening of 104 Unity Schools in Nigeria.
Some news reports heard it that the news was passed on October 2, by Mr Adamu Adamu, minister of education in Abuja.
Its being known that Adamu Adamu said state governments and private school owners across the nation, are at liberty to fix resumption dates and ensure that there are going according to the safety measures.
Adamu Adamu warned that schools who fail to follow strictly the COVID-19 safety measures risk closure if there is an outbreak from such school.
It is known that Lagos, Oyo, Kano, and Enugu and some states have announced dates for the reopening of schools in their states.
Reports heard it that, Presidential Task Force PTF on COVID-19, on Thursday, made it compulsory for schools to carry out weekly risk assessments as it added that all states and local governments would conduct monthly risk assessments.
