Federal Ministry Of Education Guidelines For Reopening Of Schools.

The Federal Government decisions on Reopening of schools has given them a second thoughts that most of the children may not abide by COVID-19 protocols. Considering the population of students in most of the schools with inadequate classroom, poor sanitary conditions and shortfall in the number of teaching hands. Expertise insist that the schools are not prepared for emergency like Corona virus.

Therefore, Federal Ministry of Education had issued guidelines for reopening of schools. It requires schools to adopt the use of distant learning centres and temporary shelters. It advocates disinfection and fumigation of facilities including hostel accommodation, with particular attention on those used as temporary isolation and treatment centres.

Also the number of students recommended by the organisation for a single classroom is between 30 and 35. Any classroom that has an extra student is considered to be overcrowded and not good for learning and teaching.

Most parents at home seeing the conditions of schools resumption has doubt in mind that it will take a longer period for school to resume. That is why parents, are now pleading with Federal Government and Federal ministry of education to look into school resumption as a matter of urgency for most children at home are becoming sometime else, Involving themselves in all manners of play and cartoon. And some parents now used the opportunity to turned their children into street hawkers, and some rooming around the street as scavenger. Forgotting that their childrens behaviors and the ability to read and write base on continuous learning.

Let government help our children because the still have a brighter future ahead.
