This follows the approval given by the state government last Tuesday.
The school's are expected to go on break for the Yuletide festivities after three weeks of academic work and resume in January.
A source in the education ministry maintains schools will be running full term and parents paying school fees will not be short changed.
In line with the school calendar released by the ministry, First Term ends 26th February.
However, it's due to the Covid-19 pandemic following with the #EndSARS protest, that the Rivers state Government has shutdown all schools, including the secondary schools. It was at the time of WAEC that secondary schools resumed.
This is to remind all parents in Rivers State, to get their children or wards prepared tomorrow to start-up the new academic section.
