It is always great news when Nigerians break records in Europe and American, academically or otherwise.
Each day, you wake up with fantastic news of Nigerians achieving this or that in different fields of work across continents.
And here is a Nigerian of Igbo extraction appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Leeds Trinity University, United Kingdom.
Permit me successfully with all satisfaction to introduce to you, Professor Charles Egbu. The great scholar hails from Abatete, Idemili North Local government areas of Anambra State.
One thing that is successfully incredible about this outstanding feat is that, Professor Charles Egbu, according to many, has become the first black/African-British to be the vice chancellor of the aforementioned institution.
It is a welcome development and one that should be wholeheartedly acceptable to those who love great things.
We wish Professor Charles Egbu all the best as he guides and leads the University well.
Congratulations, once again!
