The Registrar of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), Professor Ishaq Oloyede has disclosed that the 2019/2020 Admission is still ongoing with most public tertiary institutions in the country are yet to conclude their screening due to the negative effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also, there are so many students who have been a victim of being given Admission and are not aware due to their inconsistencies in checking their Jamb profile for any latest information.
As a result of this, so many Admissions had been forfeited and this is one of the reasons why every prospective Candidates are being encouraged to regularly check their portal.
Recently, some candidates have expressed their ordeal in checking or accessing the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
Sequel to this challenges faced, here are the important steps to follow in order to successfully access the CAPS portal without hazzles:
How To Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
- Visit: https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Efacility and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard
- Click on ‘Check Admission Status,
- Click on ‘Access my CAPS’
- Click on 'Admission Status' to see if you have been offered admission. If you have been offered admission, you can proceed to ACCEPT OR REJECT ADMISSION But if you are yet to be offered admission you will get a response like "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet", "Admission in progress" etc
