How to register yourself for the ongoing 2020 Police recruitment and where to complain for issues

The registration portal for the ongoing Nigeria Police recruitment exercise is currently open for qualified Nigerian citizens that wish to join the Nigeria police force. The registration portal has been open from 14th July, 2020 and will close on 23rd August, 2020.

A lot of people who tried to register and didn't succeed have complained they are finding it difficult to successfully navigate through the online registration portal.

This article is for such people, it will give you a step by step guide on each stage of the registeration process, till you successfully get through all the 5 stages required to complete the online registeration.

Before we begin be warned that once you click the submit button on the registeration portal you will no longer be able to change any information you have given. Therefore You must be sure any personal information you have given is correct before you enter the next stage.

Just carefully go through the processes revealed by this article and you will be good to go.

Guide through the registration portal

First, make sure to enter and search the correct registration web address [www.policerecruitment.gov.ng] on your web browser.


STAGE 1

The first stage is to create an account.

After you must have searched for the web address stated above, it should bring out a page where you will see 'apply now'. There you will be required to fill in your national identification number (NIN), Email address and password.

In the same page you will also be required to confirm you are not a robot by typing the exact letters or figures you will see.

After you have made sure you filled the correct information required, you can click the create account button.


STAGE 2

After you must have created an account, stage 2 will require that you log into your Email account.

To continue your registration you will have to click on the link sent to your mail.

STAGE 3

Clicking on that link sent to your Email account will bring you to stage 3.

First, you will be required to log in. To do that you will need to enter the Email address and the password you created in stage 1.

Once you successfully log in you would be required to provide your personal information, there is nothing difficult here just type in the required information, like your contact address, marital status, gender and others.


STAGE 4

Click on the 'number 2' at the top left of your screen after you are done with entering your personal information, this takes you to stage 4.

All you will be required to do here is to enter your results/educational qualifications.

Note that the required educational qualification for this recruitment is any of your WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB results or certificates.

STAGE 5

The last stage in the registration process is the submission stage. Once you click the submit button your registration is complete.

Note that once this is done you cannot edit any information or document, so be sure every thing you typed in previously are all correct.

Clicking the submit button will take you to a page where you can print your profile and download your guarantors form.
