
University of Uyo is set to commence academic activity. The Senate of the institution had on Wednesday 13th, 2021 given approval to the updated school calendar. This was done during a meeting by the Senate on the said date.
This is good news for the students as their long awaited prayers have been answered. It could be recall that students of Federal Universities have spent close to a year at home due to covid-19 pandemic and the prolonged Asuu strike.
From the updated school calendar, school resumes on January 18th for completion of online registrations (one week). January 25th is slated for commencement of revision exercise (one week) while examination is scheduled to commence on February 1st 2021.
With the latest development Uniuyo students are expected to be ready for resumption. It is a known fact that while some students must have been fully prepared for the resumption, others have been taken unawares.
