Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Honourable Oforji Abonsizibe Oboku has not ceased to amaze the good people of YELGA Constituency 1 with his drive for executing and completing projects. The Assembly Member has, during the Covid-19 period done gigantic projects for the people he represents. And because of his optimism to put smiles on the faces of the people he represents, a lot of constituents have kept applauding his gestures.
The Honourable Member representing the good people of YELGA Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa state House of Assembly is fully set for the stone-laying ceremony to kickstart the building of the Modern Primary School he promised the Obogoro people. The promise which was made on 2nd July, 2020 at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Epie-Atissa Youth Council (EAYC) Executives Worldwide, that was held at the Obogoro Town hall, will fully commence in the early hours of tomorrow Sat. 18th July, 2020.
According to the Assembly man, the need to build the primary school was necessary as pupils of the school are no longer going to school for some years now, owing to erosion that swept away the school. He said although, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic that has almost crippled economies worldwide, it was necessary he built the primary school to enable the pupils go back to school.
Hon. Oforji Abonsizibe Oboku vividly stated that he was a product of primary school, and he knows how it feels to be out of school. He noted that every adult that was able to secure a secondary and (or) tertiary education was able to do so because they all went through the primary school. He, however, vowed that no one can stop the pupils of Obogoro primary school from going to school, hence he will take the pains to build for them a Modern Primary School. He assured the good people of Obogoro Town that the project will not delay to commence and be completed. And that, he will borrow money to ensure the Modern Primary School becomes a reality for the Obogoro people.
