Schools reopen in Cameroon, here is what they do before entering the Class (Video)

Schools in Cameroon have finally reopened with strict measures that will aid in combating coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Torixus reported that Schools and universities in Cameroon opened on Monday with hundreds of thousands going to class, despite the number of COVID-19 infections continuing to increase.

In a video that surfaced online on June 1, Students were seen undergoing some exercise before they are allowed to enter inside the class for lectures.

Starting from the point of entry, their temperature are checked, before told to wash their hands properly while being watched by a Guardian who sees how the process is going. After washing their hands, they will place the hand below a dryer before entering the class.

Officials say that the new health measures taken at schools makes them confident that they can handle the pandemic. 

The disclosure of how schools in Cameroon are containing the Spread of the virus was made by a young talented musician and actress, Mayorchu. She shared the video of her first appearance in school after two months of staying at home due to covid-19.

"I resumed classes today in my school; Gateway bilingual nursery and primary school... I'm writing my Common Entrance and FSLC in a few weeks and I know I would make my parents proud by being on List A" she said.
