ICT CHALLENGE, an educational programme aimed at improving the quality of education via technology application kicks off in Ohaozara, Ebonyi State on Monday 15th March 2021.
Edutech Consults came up with this educational programme to engage pupils/students positively with the use of technology in learning and rewarding academic excellence.
The contest comes in two stages; qualifying and grand finale. The qualifying stage consists of 30 questions to be completed in 20 minutes while the final stage contains 50 questions in 40 minutes with smart devices.
This is first of its kind in Ebonyi State where pupils are engaged in ICT competition employing technology tools. The initiator of the programme Anoke I. Darlington aka Mr. CP said he is very passionate about taking the education space in Ebonyi to the next level.
We are not tapping the potentials in technology to enhance learning and we are poised to make a difference through collective efforts. The use of technology in learning improves learning outcomes and boosts student centred learning.
After the qualifying round, a seminar will be put up to expose and enlighten the pupils on the use of technology in examination. Those who qualified will contest in the final stage using tech devices.
The following prizes and awards are up for grab:
Winner: N20 000
