Nigeria Police Force 2020 Recruitment: Portal, Position, Requirements, How to Apply, Deadline & Tips

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerian candidates for enlistment into the following position in Nigeria Police Force, as graciously approved by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Adamu Abubakar NPM MNI, as follows:-

* Job Title: Police Constable (Recruits).

* Location: Across All the 36 States and FCT Abuja.


REQUIREMENTS FOR NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 2020 RECRUITMENT

The general requirements that must be satisfied by all applicants who must already have passion for a career in the Force as requested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) are stated as follows:

#1. Applicant shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN).

#2. Applicant must possess a minimum of Five (5) Credits in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics.

#3. Applicant must be aged between 17 – 25 years.

#4. Applicant must be medically, physically and psychological fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for male and 1.64m tall for female.

#5. Applicant must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurement (for men only).

#6. Applicants must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.

#7. Female applicant must not be pregnant at the time of the recruitment.

#8. Applicant must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.

#9. Applicant must print their completed Online Forms and Guarantor Forms, and submit same at the Examination, Screening and Recruitment centres.


NONACCEPTANCE OR DISQUALIFICATION CONDITIONS FOR NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 2020 RECRUITMENT

Only candidates who are suffering from any one of the underlisted abnormalities or deformities shall NOT be accepted for or be disqualified from enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force:

#1. Impediment in speech.

#2. Gross malformation of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food.

#3. Knock knees.

#4. Bow legs.

#5. Bent knees (i.e. Knees which cannot be straightened when standing at attention).

#6. Deformed hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand.

#7. Defective eyesight or squint eyes.

#8. Amputation of any part of the body.

REGISTRATION PORTAL AND HOW TO APPLY FOR NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 2020 RECRUITMENT

Any interested candidates who satisfy the aforementioned general requirements should:

#1. Ensure that you have a functional Email Address and National Identification Number NIN before you begin your application.

#2. Go to the registration portal for Nigeria Police Force - www.policerecruitment.gov.ng because all applications must be submitted “Online” and there is no physical submission of application forms.

#3. Carefully "Fill" and “Submit” the Online Form (Try to patiently "review" the information you provided before final submission).

#4. Ensure that you print out the information that is sent automatically to your Email address you used for registration.

#5. And finally, do not forget to COPY and SAVE your “Registration Number” for future reference (The “Number” is case sensitive please take note).


DEADLINE FOR NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 2020 RECRUITMENT

The application deadline (i.e. closing date) for year 2020 Recruitment exercise into Nigeria Police Force is Sunday 23rd August, 2020 by 11:59pm.

IMPORTANT TIPS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT NIGERIA POLICE FORCE 2020 RECRUITMENT

#1. All applications must be done "online" starting from 14TH JULY to 23RD AUGUST, 2020.

#2. Make sure you print out the information sent to your registered Email address and copy and save your Registration Number for future purpose.

#3. You would be required to present "a hardcopy of email message sent" to you if you are shortlisted and contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.

#4. The applicant that the meet the requirement from the online registration would be invited for "Physical Screening" at all State Commands, including FCT Command from "24TH to 30TH AUGUST 2020".

#5. The "Names of Successful Candidates" will be published in the National Newspapers on 14TH SEPTEMBER, 2020 and other platforms.

#6. No email address and/or phone number can be used more than once in this application.

#7. Applicants with multiple applications would be automatically disqualified.

WARNINGS TO ALL INTENDING NIGERIAN APPLICANTS

It has been clearly stated and warned that "the application is FREE" and any candidate who is involved in any form of monetary "inducement" will be disqualified and prosecuted.


And the Nigeria Police Force shall not enter into any correspondences with candidates or on behalf of candidates in this recruitment exercise aside this provided portal or candidates' e-mail addresses. Be warned!
