The kingdom of Saudi Arabia has sent a powerful delegation of Islamic scholars to meet with the Borno state government over the ongoing construction of Islamic university in the state. The delegation led by the Imam of the holy mosque, the dean of faculty of languages from a top university in the country and other influential personalities.
The delegation arrived in the state capital in a private jet, upon landing, many people gathered at the terminal to welcome them before they proceeded to the state government offices. The Imam of the holy mosque and members of his delegation used the opportunity to inspect the ongoing construction of Islamic university in the state.
The Islamic university is expected to be completed soon as more projects were sponsored by the Saudis and other dignitaries from Borno state. The executive governor of Borno state, Prof Babagana Umar Zulum was highly commended for his efforts, commitments and dedication in rebuilding the state and promoting developmental goals that will better the lives of his people.
