The Federal Government on Friday announced that all Unity Schools in Nigeria should resume with effect from October 12.
The Minister of Education, in the person of Mallam Adamu Adamu, released gave speech in the press conference room in Abuja.
This came about six months after closure of schools nationwide by the federal government to curb the spread of covid-19 among individuals.
The virus have claims so many life through out the world, and still yet we are still battling with the virus. Let all students make sure that they comply with the guidelines from WHO, knowing that the virus is still very much around.
Mallam Adamu Adamu stated in his statement that:
“I’m glad to report that there has not been any single case of COVID-19 in all Unity Schools. No single fatality among the students."
“We have come to the conclusion that we have to review our decisions. After consultation with PTF, we have resolved that our Unity Schools be opened on October 12, 2020," Adamu added.
“We have consulted with all schools administrators and stakeholders in the educational sector. We are on alert with the international media." Adamu disclosed.
Universities Reopening Update In Nigeria:
All Universities should still be on hold till further notice.
