The authority of the University of Lagos, Akoka has declared reopening of hostels to students for the second semester examinations. This information was in accordance with a notice made to the students titled " schedule of the accommodation of Bonafide students with allocated bed spaces in the hostels for the 2nd Semester examinations." The reopening is to commence on August 26 ( next week).
The schedule for accommodations is in this order :
100 and 200 level students will move in on August 26 and then depart on or before September 11.
300 level students will move in on August 28 and then depart on September 18.
400 level and 500 level students will move in on September 18 and then depart on September 26.
For the faculty of law only, 500 level students will move in on August 28 and then depart on September 5.
This reopening will take place with series of conditions due to the Corona virus pandemic ravaging the state. They include : coming with hand sanitizer and face masks and maintenance of social distancing. It was signed by the dean of students affairs, professor Ademola Adeleke .
