Senator Ita Enang made the remark at about the 13th to 15th minute during an interview when he was reacting to questions on why the federal government allowed the strike action to linger for this long.

According to Enang, the federal government has agreed to do what it can but members of ASUU have refused to suspend the strike because they said it wasn't going to pay them for the period they were on strike as stipulated in the trade dispute act.
