"Congratulate him!"- Reactions to photos of a handicapped man who just completed his NYSC

God is so good. We do appreciate all your doings and creations. He is unquestionable God who created all things as he wishes. And to only you will we return the glory!

This article is a motivational one that will touch its readers in a positive way and encourage those ones feeling discouraged about their situation, background and nature!

Here is a handicapped man, who has no legs to walk with, took all what it takes against all odds, went to a university, passed all his courses, graduated and went to one year mandatory NYSC

Today, he is holding a NYSC certificate after he completed his service year!

Who am I talking about? I am talking of a man whose name is Emmanuel who graduated from Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma Edo State.

See Emmanuel's photos after collecting his NYSC certificate:

This is unusual in a country of ours! Most parents don't support physically challenged children to have education. If they do, they don't usually go beyond primary or secondary schools. In short, most families see them as liabilities; those that have nothing to offer!

Stigmatization is another big challenge facing handicaps. It is societal problem.  Nigerian society is not conducive for them to thrive, their God-given talents rot in them. After a while, they become street beggars constituting social nuisance!

There is need to change our orientation towards physically challenged persons. They should be embraced, catered for and supported by all. Emmanuel's success should be a motivational one for other people like him and the so called abled people as well not to give up!

See how people congratulated Emmanuel for his success:

Let's know your thoughts or reactions to Emmanuel's success
