It is often said that education is the best legacy but today, many schoolchildren learn in fear of building collapse. Education is the future of every nation and it should be prioritized by the government. The ministry of education has a responsibility to take care of the teachers' welfare, school children's well-being as well as the environment where the learning is taking place.
Mallam Adamu Adamu (Minister Of Education)
A lot of school buildings are in a deplorable state and nobody seems to bother about the lives of the pupils learning therein. These children panic every day and they may find it difficult to pay attention to the things they are being taught. Apart from the classrooms, the staffroom, libraries, science laboratories, computer laboratories, dormitories and other structures in bad shape should be fixed. The federal ministry of education under the minister should work with all state commissioners and charge them on having maintenance culture in their various capacities.
