Ali Inusah, a herder, has bagged a first class degree in accounting as he also emerged the best graduating student of the university.
Ali made impressive grades in his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) this fetched him the scholarship to study a four-year course as he was offered accounting at the university.
Ali faced many hardships after finishing high school as he could not go to a higher institution. The young man never gave up until his elder brother made an attempt to help him. This was the turning point of his life.
Amadu, the elder brother to Ali, narrated how he helped his brother from remaining a herdsman in the bush after he saw his excellent WASSCE result.
He decided to put the case forward to his boss at Citi FM who in joint scholarship with the UPSA offered him admission and scholarship at the university.
The new graduate of accounting delivered the valedictorian speech at the congregation!
Congratulations to Ali Inusah!
