Meet MACKENZIE BEZOS, the 4th Richest Woman in the World after her Divorce.

MacKenzie Scott Bezos is an American author, philanthropist, the ex-wife of Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos . She founded Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization in 2014. She was born April 7, 1970. MacKenzie was married to Jeff Bezos from 1993 till mid 2019. She met him while working as his assistant at D.E Shaw in 1992. After three months of dating, they married and moved to Seattle, Washington in 1994. They have four children, three sons and a daughter adopted from China.

She was Amazon’s first accountant and was involved in its transformation from a small online bookseller to the e-commerce behemoth it is today, the second company in American history to be valued at over a trillion dollars. MacKenzie wrote a novel titled 'The testing of Luther Albright' in 2005 which won an award the following year 2006 for American book Award. Her second novel was published 2013 and the title is 'Traps'. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University in 1992 where she studied under writer Toni Morrison.

MacKenzie married to the founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos. Their divorce made her the third richest woman in the world and one of the richest in the whole world by April 2019.

As part of the agreement, Jeff Bezos transferred 25% of the Amazon stake to MacKenzie which is 4% of the company. After her divorce, she signed a Giving pledge stating that she would be giving at least half of her wealth for charity but it has not been legally binded.

In June 2020, she became the 4th richest woman and 22nd richest person in the world due to the $38 billion dollars divorce settlement.
