3 Veteran Nigerian Actors Who Have Bagged The Lifetime Achievement Award

There are so many awards that are used to honor many Nigerian movie stars based on their general contributions during their career in the industry or in a movie, and Lifetime Achievement Award is one of them.

Lifetime Achievement Award is a type of award given by different organisations to appreciate the contributions of a star throughout the career of that personality, rather than give a single award for diverse contributions.

In this article we will be looking at 3 veteran actors who have bagged the Lifetime Achievement Award.

1. Osita Iheme: popularly known as 'Pawpaw' is from Imo State, and he is known for playing the role of child is most of the movies he has featured in. The comic actor bagged the Lifetime Achievement Award in the year 2007 courtesy of Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

2. Nkem Owoh: popularly known as Osuofia is one of comic actors we have in Nigeria. The veteran Enugu actor who has spent more than three decades bagged his Life Achievement Award in the year 2017 for his massive contributions to the movie industry courtesy of African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).

3. Olu Jacobs: the 79 year old veteran actor, who has been in the industry for over four decades was given a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021 for his undivided contributions to the movie industry courtesy of AFRIFF Global Awards.
